Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) has been honored with two awards by the Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) for their contributions to technology transfer (T2). The awards were presented during the FLC national meeting in Dallas, Texas on April 10.

Jenna Dix, the Director of Engagement for NSWC Crane, received the Harold Metcalf Award for FLC Service. This prestigious award recognizes her significant and noteworthy contributions to the FLC throughout her career. Dix expressed her gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the commitment of NSWC Crane to tech transfer. NSWC Crane has been recognized as a national leader in tech transfer, having won 25 FLC awards for excellence in this field since 2009.

In addition to Jenna Dix's award, the NSWC Crane T2 team was presented with the Best in Region award. This award acknowledges T2 excellence across federal laboratories in the Midwest region. Maria Duran, the T2 Director at NSWC Crane, stated that this award is a testament to the continued success of NSWC Crane's Technology Transfer Program.
