Braden River High School and Southeast High School showcased their exceptional talents at the 46th annual TSA Conference, securing top positions and earning multiple accolades. These talented students competed against more than 2,000 participants from 63 schools across Florida.

Braden River High School, located in Manatee County, showcased their exceptional talents at the 46th annual TSA Conference in Orlando, securing the overall winner position and making their school and county proud. Competing against more than 2,000 participants from 63 schools across Florida, Braden River High School demonstrated their outstanding abilities and dedication.

With remarkable success in the competition, Braden River High School achieved top 10 placements in an impressive 35 out of 40 categories. Their achievements included eight first-place wins in categories such as Animatronics, Data Science and Analytics II, Digital Video Production, Photographic Technology II, Promotional Design II, Structural Design and Engineering II, Video Game Design II, and Webmaster II.

In addition to their first-place wins, Braden River High School students Austin Bankuty and Kyler Wade received TSA Scholarships, while Ayva Culp, Abbie Geiger, Sheena Kurakula, and Callum Wilford were admitted to the Florida TSA Honor Society. Sophia Nowicki was also recognized as the 2024-2025 Florida TSA Vice President, further highlighting the exceptional talent and leadership present at Braden River High School.

Southeast High School Secures Commendable Second Place at TSA Conference

Southeast High School, another outstanding educational institution in Manatee County, also made their mark at the 46th annual TSA Conference. With an exceptional performance, Southeast High School secured second place overall, showcasing their talent and dedication in various categories.

Exceling in 34 categories, Southeast High School earned five first-place finishes in Audio Podcasting, Computer Aided Design Architecture, Dragster Design, Engineering Design, and Technology Problem Solving. These achievements highlight the students' expertise and innovative skills.

Furthermore, Daniel Berry from Southeast High School received the prestigious TSA Board of Directors Scholarship and Chief Architect Drafting Software Award. Berry and Miranda Herrera were also honored with a U.S. Navy Medallion Award. Ivan Aleman was elected as the 2024-2025 Florida TSA President, showcasing the exceptional leadership and accomplishments of Southeast High School students.
